SILVER SERIES 

Seascapes are the most satisfying photographs to make for me.  I am not content with just merely showing up and clicking the shutter.  I aim to physically put my camera in danger.  With the 14mm lens attached I try to get as close as possible to the action.  You need to be quick and anticipate the movement of the waves but often they are elusive.  I feel a deep connection with the ocean and I enjoy listening to the waves crash around me, feeling the immense amount of raw power the nature unleashes. The power of the ocean cuts into the shore line and over time erodes the rock.  It is for this reason that some seascapes are best presented through black & white in order to display the soul and power of the ocean.
